Terracotta vessels have been used for centuries to keep things cool. Terracotta has amazing natural properties to enable it cool via evaporation. Simply soak for 10 - 15 minutes, empty the remaining water out and place a prechilled bottle of wine in the cooler. The bottle will remain cool for several hours if required, no ice neccissary.
